New publication by the Department for Urban Planning and Design (editor: Melinda Benko)
DOCONF2019, this two-day international conference entitled “Facing Post-Socialist Urban Heritage”, is the third in a series of doctoral conferences to be organized on a bi-annual basis, which will provide a comparative overview of current doctoral urban topics and research methods in architecture and planning. The proceedings publish the full papers of the presented and discussed doctoral research during DOCONF2019 in Budapest.
The conference is a partnership between urb/bme and the International Specialist Committee on Urbanism and Landscape (ISC U + L) of DOCOMOMO, the leading international network for the documentation and conservation of the modernist heritage. Thanks for the Future Fund of the Faculty of Architecture BME, the support of French Institut in Budapest, and the Erasmus+ program, this year the Chairs, besides the teachers of the hosting Hungarian department, arrived from the Czech Republic, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, and Russia.
